Elearning could be the way forward for you!
Some of the more popular dive courses now come with the option to do the theoretical classroom portion of the course on-line prior to the practical sessions at out dive training facility. This is known as eLearning and has the advantage of being self paced so students can take as long as they need.
Advantages of eLearning
Self Paced:
You can work through it at your own pace. While you can do this with the books too to some degree, it allows you to make sure you are ready before you take the test at the end of each section, rather than being restricted by a class timetable.
No Boring Classroom Sessions:
Why would you want to be inside a classroom when you are in one of the most beautiful spots imaginable, the Whitsundays. eLearning allows you to do the classroom stuff in the evenings before you leave home, and spend your time in the Whitsundays outside and in the water, where you want to be.
Shortens your Course:
eLearning shortens your course. For example the Open Water Diver course is 3 days with eLearning and 4 days without. Guess where you spend that extra day – that’s right, in the classroom.
eLearning is Flexible:
With eLearning you can fit you course around your life, do the class work when it is convenient for you. Like when you are flying on a plane, or waiting at a train station.
